It's weird, but I've bounced into my ex - twice this week - once at the coffee shop last Saturday and then tonight at Michael's- a cool trendy restaurant where the food is all stripped down (like how I like my men) and simple!
I was having dinner tonight by my lonesome and then I saw Graham - it felt good...and I thought about our time together - I guess I was a bit lonely tonight - having dinner by myself on the eve of my vacation.
I had actually planned gym today but felt like ditching the idea and just chilling at a coffee house and then have dinner. It's a great way to start my vacation - but I couldn't help feel a bit depressed. My partner is in Scotland for a few weeks so I miss him as well....Anywho....on a positive side I am off to Costa Rica tomorrow for a week of yoga, great food and some adventure - zip lining here I'll come....
Take care peeps!
Hope you have a great time. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike! I plan to!
ReplyDeleteVery good.
ReplyDeleteBe safe, have fun, and be prepared to share stories and pics when you get back. HUGS
ReplyDeleteI enjoy spending time by myself. We all need to a break from our spouses once in a while. And speaking of eating alone, when I lived in New York City I used to go on walkabouts all the time. I'd get up on a Saturday or Sunday and just walk around the city all day with no particular plan in motion. Central Park, Soho, Village, whatever. I'd eat my way through Manhattan and explore museums and bookstores. Good times. Gawwd, I miss NYC!
ReplyDeleteBM I'll post as much as I could.
ReplyDeleteCorey - you think like me. I love walking around NYC or Boston or any big icy with no agenda. It passes the time, I never get bored and most importantly, it's great exercise.
