It was for a play called "Canned Ham" - a real-life narrative play about a up and coming Broadway composer who at the age of 42 switched careers to become a porn star and became the "oldest" recipient of an AVN award!!!! (in 2006). With this info in hand - how could I not go see this 100% super-sexy daddy! I mean look at that gorgeous smile and hot tan-line!
OK -so who is he?....as a porn star his A.K.A. is Gus Mattox (Tom Judson is his real name). Tom/Gus was nominated for many AVN awards but finally won one in 2006 for "best performer", becoming the oldest recipient of such an award.
Tom has appeared in the Broadway plays for "Cabarert"; and 42nd Street and also Metroploitan. He has also done musical compositions for MTV and would you believe it .... Sesame Street (I never thought that Sesame Street would appear on my blog but growing up on it - I'm glad I mentioned it. Tom did the "Milk" song if you can remember that one!).
The show was an introspect of Tom's life - from his finding of his true love, losing his loved one to AIDS in the early 90's and the depression that followed him. Despite shows on Broadway and his amazing talent as a composer and musician, he takes up an offer one faithful night to star in a porn flick (at the ripe old age of 42). Tom's stayed only a short 2 years in the porn industry before returning to his roots in the arts.
During the show, his musical talent is shown as he plays the accordion in his jock strap, and later on the piano and sax!
After the show I did meet him and then the next day, whilst waiting for a cab, I saw him walking up the street towards me - "Hi" I said as he returned the gesture and returned a gorgeous smile that made me melt! And there you go - the first porn star I met!
