When I read the story I thought it was so much about me - a middle aged, balding guy finding his way through life with the help of yoga!
Here's a picture of me and our yoga group in downward dog. I'm on the far right. As you can see the view is amazing - the Pacific Ocean abounds - awesome.
There's a few paragraphs on how to control and/or hide your farting in yoga - completely hilarious! According to Neal the best time to fart was with the "OM".
There's the usual misnomers about yoga in there - for instance guys who do yoga must be gay! And also how your mind thinks about food and for instance who's winning the Dodgers game!
There's even a paragraph in there about Lady GaGa!
This book so cracks me up - I've never had so much fun reading a book.
Neal (Pollack) really delivers on this book! I can so relate to it, and every paragraph is full of wit, raw personal thruth and the soul of a man finding his place from yoga!

ReplyDeleteHi Larry - it's a deck where we just chill! The hammocks are quite relaxing! Almost fell asleep in one today. But kept jumping up as I felt like I would fall over!
